Another summer Birthday Party??? Can you say SPIOLED!

We had around 20 neighborhood kids over to the back yard for a water party. It was crazy but it was fun. Landon is the social butterfly in our family and seemed to feel the need to invite everyone he knew, he didn't want to hurt any feelings!

Loosing Teeth!

Landon has lost his sixth tooth in about 2 months. He is getting rich off the tooth fairy. Look at this mouth. SNAGLE TOOTH! He is so funny. He is very brave most of his teeth he has had me pull out when they were needing another day or two.

LUCKY!!!

Tanner has spent the last few weeks trying out for a couple different soccer teams. He was invited to play on three different teams. We ended up deciding to play for a Team called Thunderfoot. They are playing State wide, we feel the coach has a lot to offer also. His new coach gave us some tickets to the Ogden vs. BYU semi pro game. We took the boys down on Tuesday. It was a lot of fun. They had a raffle while we were there. Landon decided to spend his one and only dollar on a raffle ticket, and Tanner followed suit and got one also. (A guy in front of us spent about 30 dollars on tickets). Well, they gave a way three prizes and Landon won. He seems to always win the raffle. For those of you who don't know when wii first came out he won a raffle at Hasting to get one, out of hundreds of people. Well, at the game he won a Makita tool bag. He took the hat out of the bag and had all the soccer players sign his hat. What a great time!

Look very closely at the top oh his poor head!





Landon gave Brent a home made card that he had made at school! It was sooo funny! Landon gave him the picture and little tags that had special little things that Landon would do for Brent when he wanted. Landon was so proud, and had a huge smile. Then he said.... Look dad... it's you.... see, I even made you bald !!! poor Brent! He was such a good sport!!! Smiled and said well, thank you buddy!

Banzaii

Banzaii!!!! Tanner bought this little slide with some of the money he made doing his paper route. We decided to get it out for fun on Sunday. They all had a lot of fun. Megan was a good sport with these big boys. They had the squirt guns out and was very patient when the boys were a little out of control! Jodie came over and brought Blake. I felt bad I did not get a pic of Blake. Next time!

Spring Cleaning!! Literally!

Brent and Tanner went up to the spring with Grandpa and Uncle Lyle to clean out the spring. They were good buds this weekend. Not only did they walk up and help, they spent an awful lot of time trapping animals. The poor animals. Brent and Tanner set up several traps around the cabin, and went hunting around with the BB gun. The last morning we were there Tanner got a Porcupine in a trap, and shot at a few ground squirrels and Pot guts??? Whatever that is? Brent is a great dad. He has spent a lot of time with Tanner to get him his hunter safety and do these things with T that he loves. Amie was not so impressed when T brought the dead animal around :)

Another great weekend at the cabin

Yet again, We had so much fun at the cabin. It was our scheduled week at the cabin. Unfortunately not everyone was able to make it. We had a small Birthday party for Trevon and Landon while we were there. Thanks to Amie we had fun games for the kids to play. Amie is so good at that!!! We love and thank her for her time and efforts with the kids. She played games and had treats for the kids. I was very impressed. I got the easy job of Cake and Ice Cream. We did make home made Ice Cream. As you can see the kids had a great time.

I literally can not wait! I am hoping, so much, that the movie will live up to the book. I love this series. I did get chills when watching this scene. I want to read each book again. I am trying to finish The Host right now. Then I'll probably read them again like Melissa is doing. There is a new list of links on my side bar or the book, author and some movie making. Interesting to look at!

Just for fun....

As many of you know I ONLY WISH that I were a professional Photographer. I had the desire to take some pics to I walked across the street and got some of Meg and Tanner at the park, and a few of meg in the flower gardens at my house. Landon did not want to participate at the park so I took one of his famous pout... Later he decided he wanted a better picture and we went out back. I thought they were fun... and cute.... but I am partial..

My flower garden

I thought I would take a pic or two of the flowers that have come up in my yard. It has been a lot of fun to watch them this year. Last year they were so new, most did not bloom. We watched some people spend a lot of money on the larger plants that were already bloomed. That to me is missing out on the fun part or watching them change and grow.
