Just for fun....

As many of you know I ONLY WISH that I were a professional Photographer. I had the desire to take some pics to I walked across the street and got some of Meg and Tanner at the park, and a few of meg in the flower gardens at my house. Landon did not want to participate at the park so I took one of his famous pout... Later he decided he wanted a better picture and we went out back. I thought they were fun... and cute.... but I am partial..

My flower garden

I thought I would take a pic or two of the flowers that have come up in my yard. It has been a lot of fun to watch them this year. Last year they were so new, most did not bloom. We watched some people spend a lot of money on the larger plants that were already bloomed. That to me is missing out on the fun part or watching them change and grow.

Tanner's Fit

The other day we had to give Tanner some eye drops for his red swollen eyes. He has started to have some serious allergies. Well... I thought the fits stopped at three years old. I had to get on top of him, hold his arms above his head like we did when he was a toddler. He was not very happy that we gave him the eye drops, or that we got a picture of it. I am sure that he won't be happy that I blogged about him either..... Mean mom!

Weekend At IZZY Cabin

We got the chance to get up to the cabin... so we jumped on it. Thanks to Marty being willing to share his weekend with us. We all headed up early on Saturday. In the next thirty six hours we packed in fun... food.. and family! Drew even snuck in a nap.... of course. We rode the dirt bike, the four wheeler. Drew even had Robby on the dirt bike for a short ride. We then shot some clay pigeons and the 22 rifles. Tom had a one shot kids rifle that all the little boys thought was great. We then moved on to food and indoor fun with games. Tanner and Joel had a battle of Chess. All the adults played cards and I watched to little ones and got them to sleep. It was not long till I was asleep with them. The next day we got up and had a HUGE breakfast. We then sent all the men off to the lake for fishing. We read our books, visited and when the little ones were ready for a nap we put them all in the truck and rode over to see how the fishing was. The men had moved from Bear Lake to a pond in Lake Town. We got to lake town and took a dirt road..... up..... and up..... We were beginning to wonder if we had the directions right. After passing a few dead animals on the way we found them at a tiny pond. We wondered why the heck they had come so far for this. But.... after we graced them with our presence and luck... and left..... they started to catch a bunch of fish. They had a great time. We went back to the cabin and cooked burgers, and hot dogs over the fire. We topped off the weekend with SMORES before we headed home. All in All it was a great weekend. Drew, Rae, Robby, Lena, Chad, Whitney, Joel, Steph, Parker, Brent the kids and I were there the whole time. Tom, Amie, Brayden and Trevon came for the day Saturday. We just love spending time up there. We are so grateful to have the cabin, and the IZZY family. OH! and Glena, We did get our cabin clean up jobs done too!!!

Ma's BBQ for Memorial Day

We went to Ma's house for a BBQ. It was nice to have her invite us to her house for a get together. It seems we don't so that as much any more. We all went and ate and enjoyed. Everyone was there. Chad was a little late. We called him to see why he was late..... Late for what?? Ya, he forgot! Anyway, mom had a nice table setting with dads pictures and a picture of Grandma Branch. She also set out Dad's glasses and some things of his. After we ate we took up the cute bear that mom had gotten for dads grave. We visited for a while and got some cute pics of the kids. It was so nice to have a grave to visit this year. We did not feel we had to go to the lake or not have anywhere to go. It was peaceful for me. Drew and Rae had taken up the cute basket hanging there. I just cannot believe how much you can miss one person. I love you dad. Miss you a lot.

Megan looked soooo cute!

Megan looked so cute in this little outfit that Grandma Izzy gave her for her birthday. I had to take a picture of her. We found these soooo cute shoes at Mervyn's shopping with Robyn. They were on clearance and I could not resist. Megan loves shoes. She has more shoes than anyone in the house. I have never been to much of a shoe freak, but I love to buy shoes for Meg. OHH! I know I am partial..... but dang she is cute!

Tea Party!

Megan and Lena are great fiends. They play very well together. Megan got a tea party set for her birthday. It is a lot of fun to watch these two girls play together and be cute little girls. I love Lena's sweet little smile. The two sure are cute... and I am sure they will give us our fair share of trouble.

Megan's Birthday!! Can't Believe she is Three!

Megan's Birthday is on May 9th, this day Brent and I took Megan to El Toro for lunch. They brought out the sombrero and sang to her. At first she was embarrassed but when she got over that she really loved being the center of attention. We had a BBQ celebration on Saturday. Everyone in the family was able to make it. We let the kids run around and play, ate and had a great time. Megan of course was spoiled. We had a princess cake. She loves everything that has to do with the Disney Princesses right now. She also got a princess tea set, and princess bubble blower. She received a few clothes, swimming suit, color book and money from her aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was a great day. We appreciate all the support from the family.

Dedication begins with competetive soccer

Tanner starting playing comp. soccer three seasons ago. They practice twice a week for two hours and have two games a week that we travel for, that is dedication. Their first spring season they went undefeated. Since then he has played up a year and plays with 11 and 12 year old boys. Tanner just turned 10 in February. Their team (the Flames) is a lot of fun to watch.... but different then watching Landons team. Tanners games are what I call.... full of anxiety! In one of the pictures Tanner scored a goal from hitting the ball in with his head. Tanner is very dedicated to soccer and loves it. He has especially love that Melissa and Adan have made it a ritual to come to his games. We all love that. Grandma, Tom and Amie, and Drew and Rae have also made it to a game or two. He really loves and appreciates the support. The only thing that is not so great about Tanners games it that they play in any weather. One of his games played this spring was out in Hyrum, Snowing, Wind blowing, and about 25 degrees outside. This last game the sun was out and Melissa and I both said we were not sure how to feel being warm at a soccer game. Anyway we are very proud of both our boys and love to watch them excel in soccer. OH!!!! YA!!! Brent said that I am making him look like a bad father because he is not on the blog! Really, That is not intentional.... Brent has been working very hard with Tanner to improve on his kicks. They have spent hours...... In Tanners last game Melissa commented on Tanners improvement.... I want Brent to know I love him and appreciate the work he does with his boys. And Tanner to know that we see his hard work and progress!!!!!!

Spring means Soccer!!!

Spring means soccer for our family. These pictures are of Landon. He is playing Rec soccer here in Smithfield. His team name if the Freeze. They all love the game and are learning. Landon likes to play. He usually makes himself open for the pass instead of getting right into the bunch that are playing the ball. The only problem there is that no one on the team has learned to really get it out to pass. We enjoy watching him have fun!!!!
