The Wind Caves in September

Brent and I made the 1.8 mile (each way) hike up to the wind caves on Sunday. We hiked this with the kids about three weeks ago. I have been craving to go again to take pictures ever since. We decided to go without the kids this time. The boys were not nearly as enthused this time... since they knew what they were in for. And if we could we were going to leave Meg.. since last time we had to carry her in the back pack half the time. Other than the hike kicking my butt.... It was wonderful. As you can see the leaves were gorgeous. We took some pictures on the way up, and some at the top. The view was amazing. I enjoyed the pictures taken from inside the caves. What beauty there is to see.... I just love looking through the pictures... over and over... Also, a little thank you to my hubby for going with me. He was not so sure he wanted to go. But, He went to support me... and support me he did. I am not sure why??? Because I have been working out!! But... I really struggled with the hike. He was so caring and patient!! He did not make fun of me or get frustrated! Thanks Hun!!
